Very nice, can i eat it?

"Can you remember to feed Vashti before you leave today?  I'm going to be late."
"Sure.  i can do that."
i'll just write myself a little note...
no, i'll just draw a little note,
Maybe some cat's eyes... oh those are nice,
i'll just draw the face, that'll remind me...
Well, let's see the body should go here...
Oh, it should totally have one of those word balloons without words in it,
those are funny!
And it should look all dark and sad like i forgot cuz even after spending an hour drawing this i may forget to feed the poor thing anyway.
Hmm, you know, she's royalty, she needs a crown.
(Submitted for your approval,
the highlight of my workday yesterday.)

Gym culture

A ridiculous amount of work for a joke that occurred to me while talking to my son but it was worth it.

Like, wow, dude-a-saur

A possible forerunner to the penguin and the dodo, the dinosaur known as the Flying Avocado was a plant eater, consuming copious amounts of a single psychoactive plant, it would then shush sideways down the slopes of it's native habitat in search of baked corn puffs, humming strange tunes to itself.

Look! Up on the hill! It's a bird! It's a plane!

No, and it's still not a rabbit either.  But it is silly so this is where it goes...

Contrary to accepted science, available evidence and plain common sense, some dinosaurs did persist into the ice age.  Adapting in many remarkable ways.  One such survivor and quite possibly, ancestor of the peregrine falcon, is the Downhill Dragon.  Pushing off with it's elongated claws, it pursued prey in a headlong dive, bombing the mountain until the chase ended, either in the thrill of victory...or the agony of defeat.

[Been sick the past couple of days...again.  Dunno what's up with that.  But i'm still working on the King of the Cockroaches.  Gotta new entry waiting for an illustration.  In the mean time, beware thoughts that come in the night.  Like Sochi inspired dinosaurs?  And there i thought my fever dreams were weird.]

Jericho Jacques

Ladies, look at your man.
Now look at me.
Now look at your man.
Now back to me.  Sadly, he is not me.  But, if he were a half-breed pirate, took a shower in rose petals, sunshine and saltwater, dabbed a little burnt gunpowder behind his ears, he would still smell like envy of me.

They call me Jericho, because when i call, the ladies' walls come down.

What do i love most about being a pirate?  Well, the freedom, cannons and suave fashions are all very nice, but i'd have to say, i do it for the booty.

Far enough

The Rabbits have decided that this Rabbit Trail has gone far enough.  This is a cartoon, not a comic book.  From now on, all these King of the Cockroaches story panels will go over in my old blog where i was writing a novel, then a graphic novel and now, who knows?  That'll free this page up for cartoons, rabbit or otherwise.  Sorry for the confusion.  i'm not a planner, i'm more of an improviser.
